Player-focused online casino game developer Red Rake Gaming will now offer its slots through licensed operators in the recently-regulated Belarusian online casino sector.
Online casino operators in Belarus have a reason to celebrate, as slot designer Red Rake Gaming’s premium-quality games are now licensed in the country, making Belarus the newest addition to the list of regulated markets where the company operates.
Red Rake, which is licensed by the MGA and the UKGC and based in Spain and Malta, offers its gaming content in markets across Europe, including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Romania.
The company’s growth strategy is focused on expanding into regulated markets - in this case (and many others), a regulated market where the company’s world-class games already enjoy a high level of popularity. While Belarus is the first lucky country to receive Red Rake’s games in 2020 so far, operators in other countries can expect them in the near future.
Discussing the new expansion, Red Rake Malta’s Managing Director, Nick Barr, said: “We are continuing our commitment to driving our regulated market strategy and Belarus is the first new market for 2020, with more markets in the pipeline. It is important to Red Rake Gaming that we continue to support our clients in new markets strategies. Our games have been notably well received in the region, and we are looking forward to continuing to grow with our clients and delivering the finest games to the Belarusian players.”
Among the titles which will now be available to operators licensed in Belarus include the action-packed Super12Stars, the latest release in Red Rake’s Super series, which has been popular in the country for a while. Some of the company’s other high-performing titles that Belarusian operators can look forward to offering include Million 7, The Asp of Cleopatra, Ryan O’Bryan, and Mysteries of Egypt.
Red Rake Gaming’s decision to expand into Belarus was inspired by demand from its clients and the popularity its games have long enjoyed in the country.
The gambling market in Belarus: the right time to enter
Online gambling has been legal in Belarus since April of 2019, when the country’s government announced a two-year window in which operators could obtain a license. Starting in April 2021, regulators in Belarus will begin blocking unlicensed operators in order to give legal ones room to flourish. As a newly-regulated market, the online casino business in Belarus holds a lot of promise for operators who get their hands on one of the coveted online casino licenses - which is easier said than done: the Belarusian Ministry of Taxes and Duties issued 12 licenses in 2019, only to withdraw 9 of them. 2020 should see the launch of 4 or 5 licensed online casinos.
