Card games occupy a special and privileged niche in online casinos, as it is these classical games that generate the lion’s share of revenue for entertainment portals and enjoy everlasting popularity among players.

References to playing cards go back to the 12th century. The first cards appeared in the Orient – in China and Korea, and after their arrival to the European continent they gave birth to games that hold top positions nowadays– poker, blackjack and baccarat. And most probably nothing better will be invented in the nearest future.

With the arrival of online casinos, card games so beloved by many of us were shifted online. Neither innovative slots with colourful graphics, nor other technological gambling novelties could surpass them.

Casino card games are produced by world-known companies with years of experience, as well as beginning manufactures. And every manufacturer makes his own contribution, adds some peculiarities, uses creative graphics, comes up with new kinds of games, but the very core of each game remains unchanged, after all it is thanks to these centuries-old rules that card games still attract players’ attention.

The origin of poker is quite hazy, and its history goes back to the beginning of the 16th century in Europe. It is known that there were lots of poker’s ancestors - with different names and in different countries. Those games differed from each other, but at the same time they featured some principles common for modern poker, namely the requirement to collect a certain combination of cards in order to win.

As far back as the 18th century, many written sources described poker rules that almost completely coincide with its modern types.

The 4th card is dealt face up on the table. Players use it to make combinations and place bets
