One of the largest exhibitions in the field of iGaming – EiG 2017 (Excellence in iGaming) started in Berlin. The site, which is considered as a gambling industry hub in Europe, gathered more than 2,000 participants, 65 speakers and 45 partners of the event.
This year, EiG has three main conference centers: Neo 2027, Legacy 2017, and Moment, where gaming experts and representatives of top companies from around the world discuss various global gaming industry issues, development plans, and represent innovative products.

The platform of tomorrow – Neo 2027
The main session started with a discussion on the topic of "Legacy Vs Overhaul". The discussion focused on urgent tasks and values of existing technologies for online casino software updating.
Attention was also attached to the issue of security and usage of Artificial intelligence (AI). The panellists concluded that AI offers an excellent opportunity to automate a number of processes, including marketing and CRM.
In the evening, the experts shared their cases of success and failures experienced at implementation of digital technology to support the customer base, to increase the loyalty of players and the frequency of their purchases.
In the end of the first day of the exhibition, representatives of the top companies raised one of the most important industry themes – the new generation of social players. In particular, the participants discussed key elements and type of content for the Generation Z.
The platform of today – Legacy 2017
On the first day of the exhibition, a dialogue on the theme "Creating positive play and smart profiling" was held on the platform, where we reviewed the tools for addressing a problem of responsible game (RG). Experts agreed an importance of establishment of RG sustainable methods and that the key goes to technology, namely, consumer intellectual analysis.
The participants have not spared the prospects of eSports, namely a psychology of new wave of players, their preferences, and differences between virtual and traditional betting.
In the last couple of years, the iGaming industry has been struggling to attract new young clients. Therefore, the issue of industry socialization and introduction of VR technologies was acutely raised during the conference.
The expert community has come together around the problem of alternative payment methods without usage of bankcards.
Technologies Platform – MOMENT
The platform was opened with a discussion "Opportunities in Africa" where the conference members discussed the opportunities and the risks of entering new markets: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, etc.

The main session focused on the growth of lottery market and the problems of this trend, as well as the cost of DDoS for business.
Leaders of the gambling market, such as ISoftBet, BetCostruct, NetEnt, Betradar, Aldeney eGambling, SBTech, EveryMatrix, Endorphina, GameArt, Red Tiger Gaming, Habanero, BotGaming, and many others, presented their products and solutions at EiG.
